It's the Birthday of the great English visionary William Blake. You could say that Blake's innovative juxtaposition of images and words and small scale self publishing eventually led to the development of comics, but that's probably a bit of a stretch.

I just realised that I can still remember all the words to 'The Sick Rose' which I memorised 6 years ago for my a-levels.

I did not know that. I also studied him for A-levels, although I didn't have to learn any poems off by heart.
He was awesome and we should build a time machine so we can go back and have a cup of tea and a chat or something.
